I spent most of yesterday laying around which paid off because I feel much more alive today. It’s nothing new but I often resent that I lack of energy and motivation to do virtually anything on my days off, ignoring the fact I spent like twelve years being burned out to the brink of death and it will take more than a year or two to recover from all that. I’ve only just come to a point in my life where I’m stabilized and can finally get my shit together but the shit takes so long to get together!! I refuse to squander my youth!!
Anyway the end of another month and receiving another paycheck has renewed my spirits, I would really like to get measurements done in my apartment so I can finally move forward with some new furniture. There’s only so much you can do to make a rectangle with zero soundproofing feel habitable but goddammit do I try. I’m definitely going to need to do something for CD storage soon, getting back into collecting has pushed my bookshelf past capacity. I’m thinking some shelves to show off the best cover art and ones that I got signed 
There’s like a hundred different changes I constantly think about and it becomes overwhelming considering the expenses, so I typically don’t want to think about any of it and end up doing nothing. Maybe I really am squandering my youth. More like every minute of my youth not spent being a multimillionaire feels like a squandering of my whole existence, obligatory I Hate Capitalism rant blah blah blah.
I’m going to update a page on my perfume collection and wishlist this week at the very least but it would be nice if I can slap together a little more than that. The general layout and graphics on the site aren’t aligned super well right now, I know, I’ll work on that despite trying to already and I dunno what the problem is 
In other news I heard Miley Cyrus’s new album and it was really good, I’ve been waiting for her to release something that I can get into and the time has finally come. Not sure if I’ll pick up a physical copy but the fact I’m even considering buying a Miley album is uncharted territory. I definitely entered some sort of pop music vortex these past couple years because I still can’t get enough of it 
Lady Gaga’s Mayhem was like a religious experience and I figure I better start saving now for that rumored Tokyo show next September, I’ve never seen Mother Monster live and I don’t want to miss my chance AGAIN.
Oh and the Sentimental Circus 15th anniversary comic came out recently and it’s wonderful, I love these characters and their stories and I wish it would grow in popularity. I even want to incorporate Shappo etc. into my site design at some point and perhaps try my hand at translations. Sentimental Circus deserves a proper spotlight just like Rilakkuma does, San-X!! 
I shouldn’t be complaining about my faves being under-appreciated, though, when this year saw Chococat rise OVER TWENTY PLACES in the Sanrio character ranking (in Japan)!!
